The Permanent Tourist: Revolutionary In More Ways than One

Situated on Sullivan’s Island Revolutionary War-rich turf, newly opened The Obstinate Daughtergives a firm nod to the history of the island and a  London cartoon calling “Miss Carolina Sullivan, one of the obstinate daughters of America, 1776,” in the wake of Britain’s loss in the Battle of Sullivan’s Island that same year.
